Something nude, gray and black!

As you tell by the picture….I purchased 3 pairs of shoes.  Jon was like…..uhhh wtf when he got home (even though he knew about them! teehee….^_^)

My nude shoes are my LOVE ♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~♥~!!!!!!

It took calling 3 different boutiques (Costa Mesa, Beverly Hills and Miami) finally being in #1 place on the wait list for size 38 Christian Louboutin Patent Leather Nude 140 Biancas!  These are 5 1/2 inches of pure love.  Technically, you’re only walking on 120mm because the front platform is 20mm (check out a close up picture after the jump!). Christian Louboutin Fall Collection 2010

The Bibi is out for pre-order at SAKS! They have almost every color that was mentioned in the lookbook besides the light blue and gray [which are the ones that I would've wanted].  The colors listed on Saks are: Black (as shown above), Brown and Tan.

I thought maybe NM would have them, but after looking through their new Fall CL collection there was nothing that really caught by eye……except the nude Rolandos, but I’m still sticking it out for my Bianca’s.

Saks has an interesting Fall collection.  I like the fact that I can use saks and NM interchangeably and they always have different styles available.  In the Saks collection, the Dahlia Pointy Toe Ankle Boots are sooooooooooo cute!  I keep looking around for more booties [I already have a black/gray suede bootie by Prada] and I’m really looking for nice looking leather ones.  Suede you can only wear when the weather isn’t bad…..

Lots to think about for Fall – I cant wait! :)

Update

So I need to provide another update.

Every few days I get this idea to update my blog, but I find that I either, do not have a picture to go with it or I just don’t have time to post.  I really need to get better at this.

Since my Prague trip:

  • I was laid-off again [!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]. Trust me, I hate that company now.  They did it when I was sick after my trip back.  Luckily they gave me 2 weeks severance even though I had only been working there for a month.  I deserved it.
  • My sister turned 16!!!!  I remember her being a baby like it was just yesterday….
  • I found a job [that paid even more than the place that just laid me off, which is...$10k more than what I was making in February!!] before I needed to claim unemployment!  [A HUGE Thank You to my references!]
  • I usually reward myself when I get a new job, but instead I used that non-existent money to have Truffles’ teeth deep-cleaned.  His breath was god-awful before, but now there’s no smell at all!  I plan on doing a blog post about the transformation.
  • My parents MOVED.  Yes, MOVED.  They’ve been living at the condo  for what, 15+ years now?  They finally jumped on a great deal on a townhouse in Chantilly.  They’ve updated a few things, such as the kitchen [I love their granite], changed the carpet, changed a few fixtures and added recessed lighting.
  • I finally went to the Jersey shore [specifically, Wildwood] and had the famous, Mack’s pizza.  I rode the rides and got sunburned….
  • I watched Lady GaGa in concert in Atlantic City, NJ!  She was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  • I may have found beloved Christian Louboutin Bianca in Nude!!!!  More details on that later…

I think that’s about it in terms of excitement.  I’ll try to get posts up on some of the more eventful things in the list later. :]

Sandra Bullock at MTV Movie Awards 2010

Sandra Bullock was looking fantastic last night wearing an Oday Shakar dress but what I couldn’t stop looking at were her shoes!!

I’ve recently caught the Christian Louboutin bug and I’m dying for a pair of nude shoes.  From the look of it – it’s suede for sure and it looked nude on TV, but in fact it has more of a gray-ish tone to it.  They look like Bianca’s from the front, but the heel in the back is thicker in width.

After copious amounts of searching and asking on tPF, I’ve found the answer!!!  She was wearing Christian Louboutin Bibi’s.  They are to die for and I love the color/height combination.  According to the lookbook, the Bibi comes in 4 different colors; the one Sandra is wearing [gray-ish], a black color, a light blue-ish color and a brown/burnt color.

I’m definitely putting the Bibi on my wishlist, but first…..my Nude Bianca’s.  I those the most.

I love my new shoes~ Pt. 2

So here’s my update [with unboxing pictures!!].

I didn’t get my shoes til Tuesday like I mentioned before and took them to my cobbler [he is absolutely the best in the area with tons of experience - here's the yelp] in Tysons Corner on Wed. during my lunch break. I was torn when I got there – there were TWO colors of rubber soles!!!!! There was a thinner rubber sole [don't believe it was vibram] that was a lighter shade of red and there was a thicker rubber sole [vibram] that was a darker red. Miss Christine chose the lighter one, so I did as well. I’m picking up my shoes on sunday so hopefully I can get an after picture – I’m unsure if I have a before picture, but you’ll be able to see the difference in color.

Now on to unboxing…

I love my new shoes~

My friend and I have always said that we need to purchase a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.  They’re just so pretty and exudes femininity down to the red sole of his shoes.

My goal [yes, another goal/occasion for me to buy something] was to have my first pair of Louboutins by the time I finished my master bedroom closet renovation.   Well the time line is sorta whacky and I jumped the gun by buying the shoes way early [but there was a promo going on for something that I'm going to purchase in the future...not for me though!  For jon!].

So I purchased the shoes online from Neiman Marcus.  I purchased 2 pairs of the same shoe in different sizes because of differing opinions about sizing [there's a wealth of information from tpf and also from the sales associate].  In the end – I’m extremely happy with the way the 38.5 fit but…

I went to NM to return the 2 pairs I got in the mail for another pair of 38.5 – I didn’t care for how the red tips were put on…hopefully this new pair is perfect.  In all honesty though, the red tips were fine because anyone looking at my shoes wouldn’t even notice the little details that I saw, but it doesn’t hurt to try.
